APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Non Attendance

We understand unexpected things crop up and prevent you from attending an appointment.

Our cancellation policy requires you to provide us with 12 hours notice should you need to cancel your appointment.

As you can understand our health professionals schedule an appointment for each patient, and our clinic often runs at full capacity, even at times with a waiting list.

We greatly appreciate your consideration of our staff and other patients in ringing ahead and notifying us of your non-attendance.

A non-attendance of the full fee applies for late cancellations. We ask that you clear all fees prior to receiving further treatment.

Payment Policy

WA Health Group has a strict “pay on the day” policy, including all initial appointments for private consultations. This includes all Motor Vehicle, DVA, and Workers Compensation Patients, who do not have the required documentation (a valid GP referral and claim number with approval from your insurer).

HICAPS and Payment

WA Health Group has HICAPS facilities, which enable you to swipe your participating health insurance card (e.g. Medibank, HBF, BUPA etc) and obtain an instant rebate. Gap payments can be made with EFTPOS facilities or cash only. WA Health Group accepts all credit cards including VISA and AMEX. Cheque payments are not accepted.

Private Health Insurance

All WA Health Group practitioners are registered with Private Health Funds. Please ensure that you have checked with your health fund to ensure coverage for the applicable service prior to your appointment. WA Health Group takes no responsibility for any errors or misunderstanding between patients and private health funds regarding rebates. We provide care for all health funds such as HBF, Medibank Private, BUPA and more.

Late Arrival

We regret that late arrivals may not receive an extension of their scheduled appointment and will be charged in accordance with their scheduled appointment as this time has been allocated to you. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and will only occur with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. If your practitioner is running late, due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive your full scheduled appointment allocation.

Remembering Your Appointment

It is the client's responsibility to remember all scheduled appointments. All missed appointments will be charged under the cancellation policy. WA Health Group offers a courtesy text reminder system, and we ask that should you not be able to attend your appointment, you reply at the time of receiving your text message at the time it is received.
