Julie graduated from Curtin University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry.
Julie has extensive experience in both public and private practice podiatry and in rural and remote areas.
Originally a country person from the Goldfields, Julie had the only private practice in Kalgoorlie/ Boulder for 10 years. She also ran the high risk foot clinic at Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital which treated both inpatients and outpatients.
She also provided podiatry services through the Community Health Centre and established the podiatry clinic at the Aboriginal Medical Centre ( Bega Garnbirringu). She also provided podiatry services with the visiting Ophthalmologist and Urologist to Indigenous clients locally and from the lands.
She was also involved with various sporting clubs and provided education and training sessions to other allied health professionals.
Julie has a very broad knowledge base and has kept her training up to date with the latest treatments involving acupuncture/ trigger point dry needling and foot mobilisation and manipulation.
She is very interested in treating diabetics, children and minor nail surgery. She has a comprehensive knowledge in bio mechanics.
When not working she is a very busy Mum of three young children. In her spare time Julie likes travelling, blogging and is a passionate supporter of animal welfare.
Evin enjoys the challenge of helping clients with their feet and is passionate about making a positive difference in their lives so they can reach their full potential, unrestricted by foot and ankle problems.
Evin helps clients with a variety of health problems from general nail and skin care to biomechanical conditions and rehabilitation exercises to ensure optimum foot health long term.
A consultation with Evin involves a dive into her client's presenting problems using a whole person approach. Evin takes pride in supporting her clients to understand their problem and how they reach their goal of coming to see her.
Evin is professional, and uses scientific evidence together with a gentle touch to promote functional, pain free movement. Evin is enthusiastic about helping clients of all ages and with all foot conditions including diabetic foot care, pathological toenails and musculoskeletal pain through dry needling, mobilisation and orthotic therapy.
Jun always wanted to be in the healthcare field which drew her to Perth to complete a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with distinction at the University of Western Australia. Through her Podiatric training Jun found her passion - helping clients with their feet, using a whole person approach.
Jun believes the most important part of her session involves carefully understanding her client’s problems. Through listening to their story Jun is able to use her Podiatric skills to not only help her clients but more importantly prevent recurrence and improve the function of their feet. Jun has experience in both public and private health sectors in Australia as well as the NHS in the UK.
Jun helps clients with heel pain, corns, calluses, warts and ingrown toenails. Jun values educating clients about their condition and together with her skills as a Podiatrists ensures her clients get great health outcomes. Jun helps patients with biomechanical problems using manual and orthotic therapy with great results for both walkers and runners. Jun is enthusiastic about helping people from all walks of life.
Jun finds fulfillment in seeing clients get happier and healthier with every treatment. Outside of work, Jun enjoys working out in the gym, travelling, baking and going on a quest to find the best coffee in town. Jun loves attending plays and musicals, and is excited to explore what Perth has to offer. Jun is available on Saturday mornings at our Queensgate Centre, Canning Vale clinic and speaks Chinese, Cantonese and Malay. We look forward to helping you be at your happiest and healthiest.
